PRE-AUTHORIZED DEBIT AND SYSTEMATIC WITHDRAWAL PROGRAM
Please note that pre-authorized debit and systematic withdrawal schedules for self-directed registered and non-registered accounts will all be processed on time.
However, they will not be scheduled the same day they are received by our teams.
CLIENT PAYMENTS
In the current context, we will proceed by bank deposits (EFT) in order to avoid as much as possible cheques for withdrawals from client accounts. If necessary, you can contact Advisor Services.
CLIENT CHEQUES
All personal cheques that may be received by mail will be converted to a One-time PAC (OTP). Please advise your clients accordingly. This means that the client will not have their cheque cashed, but rather a PEAK bank withdrawal for the amount they have authorized.
Once again, we remind you that mailings should be exceptional and that it is preferable to use the electronic solutions offered.
CASH TRANSFERS
We strongly encourage you to give preference to transfer in kinds.
If the transfer is requested in cash, we will make arrangements with the institution in question to check the possibilities of making a direct bank transfer.
PURCHASE OF GICs OR SAVINGS BONDS
We are currently taking the appropriate steps to request cooperation from our partners to settle guaranteed investment payments by bank transfer in lieu of regular cheques.
We make every effort to minimize the administrative delays that could be caused by a payment by cheque.
In addition, it may be difficult to guarantee the daily rate.
